I don't like staying still and I usually struggle to watch films unless I'm at the cinema, where it's not socially acceptable to just casually stroll around in the middle of a movie. At home though, there is no one to stop me. I remember I watched the first two Harry Potter movies at the cinema and that was fine, but I watched the third one on DVD..... and I left the room after 15 minutes and never went back in. That may seem strange to some of you but I just really can't sit still unless I'm consciously doing something such as eating, typing, or something that involves conscious movement. Yep, it's all a little bit odd....
Anyway, armed with an uplifting DVD, mixed nuts, and yoghurt coated fruit, I tucked myself into bed and watched Hairspray. I love this movie and I'd love to see it in the West End. I'm a massive fan of musicals and they're usually really good at cheering me up.
It was strangely relaxing watching a movie in the comfort of my own bed alone. I also managed to get through the entire movie without leaving my bed! Hurrah!!! I reckon the snacks probably helped. Healthy eating flies straight out of the window when movies are involved. Totally worth it though.

Do you prefer watching movies at home or at the cinema?

I love hairspray and i'm totally know what your talking about, i'd prefer to watch movies at home because i can move around. I can't sit in the same position for long so in the cinema i get really fidgety.

I prefer to at home because it's more relaxing than in cinema. Like if I'm hungry, I can just go take it in the kitchen. Easy as that. Anyway, lovely post as always and I like Hairspray <3 xo

Argh I love Hairspray! Haven't watched it for ages! I love time to myself - I stick on a film or a series from Netflix, put on a facemask and normally have some sweets. I like the cinema but it is so expensive I can't really justify it!

I love this. I love the cinema but there's nothing quite like curling up on the sofa in your PJs, with a blanket, some snacks, hot tea and a good movie. Plus there's never any annoying kids throwing popcorn or bored people talking over the film! xx

Ooh I loved this movie! I remember I got to see it at an early screening and just loved it! And yes, I prefer movies at home for sure. Don't get me wrong, I like going to the cinema every now and then, but the ticket pricing is only going up! I only really like full on action packed movies in theatres. Other than that, I love watching a good movie at home, being comfy in my pajamas and eating whatever I want without having to worry about other people! And, I can pause it if I have to use the restroom (because I hate leaving to go use the restroom when I'm at an actual cinema, but sometimes, nature calls!)

I remember Hairspray, awww memories it came out like seven years ago? haha I do enjoy both, watching in cinemas and home. For me it depends on the movie and the mood I feel x

I love going to the cinema but the prices for the tickets are getting a bit ridiculous and I'd much rather stay in all curled up with my own snacks that don't cost x10 as much ><

I love movies at both the cinema and at home. But I am exactly like you - if I don't have a huge popcorn and coke in my hand, I'll end up falling asleep or fidgeting with something! :)
